Immersive MTB Experience with Tony Longo

Learning from a master of the discipline, with the opportunity to receive valuable advice and discover the secrets to improving your training and your riding style. Tony Longo is a former mountain bike champion, now a professional trainer and Brand Ambassador of Lee Cougan. As Tour Guide, he will accompany the 12 participants in the Lee Cougan MTB Experience to discover the Hero Dolomites – from 15 to 18 June 2023 -, a race that he knows very well. A weekend dedicated to cycling, with the opportunity to get to know the Soudal Lee Cougan team up close, immersed in the wonderful natural scenery of the Dolomites.

The training camp

Have the opportunity to ride among some of the most beautiful mountains in the world, the Dolomites, a UNESCO heritage site. Immerse yourself in one of the most fascinating and attractive races, the Hero Dolomites, thanks to the Soudal Lee Cougan team on the paddock. Test and have fun on the best mountain bikes from Lee Cougan, such as Rampage Innova or Crossfire. All this, having a former mountain bike world-class champion as guide and coach: Tony Longo.

An outstanding coach: Tony Longo

Born in 1984, after 19 years in international mountain biking, first in cross country and then over long distances, Tony Longo is one of the most experienced riders on the Italian mountain bike scene. He conquered a respectable palmarès, earning the esteem and affection of crowds all over the world, before deciding to leave the Cross Country Marathon races. After the end of his career as a professional athlete riding a Lee Cougan, the rider from Trentino is a close collaborator of the brand.

Four days between riding and nature

Between rides on iconic tracks and the well-being of Italian hospitality, Lee Cougan has created an experience, with attention to the smallest details, to entertain, excite and learn. Surrounded by the natural beauty and adrenaline of the Hero Dolomites weekend, the participants will immerse themselves in the world of mountain biking. An intense experience, made even more unique by the fact that Tony Longo will guide them.

The Program

Thursday June 15th

Early afternoon arrival at the hotel for check-in. Refreshments will follow with a brief presentation of the experience
3:30pm. Set up bikes and spin fast to stretch your legs from the travel and make sure everyone’s bikes are ready

Friday June 16th

Breakfast
9/9:30am. Tour departure with a lunch break in a refuge (not included in the price). Return to the hotel doing some practice with the mtb along the way with Tony Longo. Some tracks will be selected based on the level of the participants

Saturday June 17th

7:45am. Arrival in Corvara to see the passage of cyclists on the climb between Corvara and Pralongiá
8:30am. From Crovara you can reach Colfosco, from where you can take the Plans-Frara lift that takes you to the top of Passo Gardena. From there you go down to Selva to see the arrival of the cyclists. The Lunch break will be close to the finish line and a greet-and-meeting with the team in the paddock.

Sunday June 18th

After breakfast, 2h/2h30′ bike ride with Tony Longo who will explain in detail the features of Rampage Innova and test ride (by reservation)

A beautiful stay in the heart of Dolomites

The Melodia del Bosco Hotel will welcome the participants of the Lee Cougan MTB Experience in the heart of Alta Badia, at an altitude of 1315 meters. For guests, Comfort Rooms will be made available with a living area of 34 m², wooden floor, bathroom with shower and bathtub, separate toilet, hairdryer, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, safe, and balcony.
